VI.1.4 Pompeii. September 2005. Entrance. According to Fiorelli, found on the wall at the side of the entrance was a graffito, now disappeared–
C. CVSPIVM  PANSAM
AED  MVLIONES  VNIVERSI
AGATHO  VAIO
He described the inn as having two small rooms, a triclinium, three dormitories, two areas for the carts without doors but protected by a roof, and to the right, the stable. See Pappalardo, U., 2001. La Descrizione di Pompei per Giuseppe Fiorelli (1875). Napoli: Massa Editore. (p.47)
According to Pagano and Prisciandaro, found here in August 1770 were two graffiti, the first painted in black letters read –
C(aium) Cuspium Pansam
aed(ilem) muliones universi
Agatho vaio    [CIL IV 97]
and on the same wall, but higher up painted in red was –
Postu[mium 3]
Iulius Polybius college
facit                   [CIL IV 98]

According to Della Corte, found here were two skeletons of horses with the remains of their harnesses and iron wheels. In the courtyard, as well as two fountains or drinking troughs, were the remains of three carts.
